Climate Change

  • Genesis 8:22 “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
  •

After the worldwide Flood, Noah, his family, and the animals left the ark and experienced a different world than the one before the Flood. The Earth would now experience regular rain fall and changing climates. You see, climate change is nothing new to God or mankind. Before man’s present technology (which is said by Doomsdayers to be Mother Earth’s and mankind’s downfall), God promised climate change would happen all the way back in Gen. 8. In our text, God promised that the seasons would come and go. God promised that there would be “cold and heat, and summer and winter.” Since the Flood, there have always been seasons and even cycles where centuries are hotter or colder or more extreme or docile than previous centuries. God also promised that this pattern would continue “while the earth remaineth.” God has a personal timetable for when the earth will end, but it will not end according to Climate Change activists’ Doomsday clock. So-called “Global Warming” will happen one day, but it will only happen after “the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” (Joel 2:31) And this “Global Warming” will not happen gradually but in a massive melting and burning away of all “the elements” and “the heavens” resulting in a new heaven and a new sinless earth.

  • II Peter 3:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
  • vs. 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”
  •
  • Revelation 21:1 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

Governments are destroying their economies and their people to undo God’s promised climate change. Yet, time marches on, the earth spins still, climates continue to change. God’s laws cannot be undone. However, believers distracted by “global warming” are callously allowing lost souls be sent forever to a burning, fiery hell without ever hearing the soul-cleansing Gospel of Jesus Christ proclaimed from their lips. The Earth’s inevitable burning is not our concern. The burning of lost souls in hell is.
